Yeshua's Kingdom

Matthew 24:14 Jesus said, " And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come."

John 18:36, Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

Luke 5:36 " No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old."

Hebrews 1:10-12 " You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands; They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail."

Isaiah 51:6 " Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, the earth will grow old like a garment, and those who dwell in it will die in like manner."

2 Corinthians 4:18 ....while we do not look at things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We can see this earth. Therefore it cannot be eternal, nor can it be the home of our Lords eternal kingdom. Jesus declares that you don't put something new on something old in reference to the earth.

Hebrews 8:1-5 The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain."

Hebrews 9:11 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.

Matthew 5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Jesus has proclaimed that the law will be in affect until this current heaven and earth pass away. That being the case, He can never be a priest on this earth, nor can we reign with Him on this earth as priests. He has been declared to be a Priest forever because of His endless life. Therefore His kingdom must remain in the heavens until the new heaven and the new earth are made. We will spend the millennium with Him in heaven.

John 5:17 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."

2 Corinthians 5:1 " For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

John 14:1-4 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."

Matthew 25:34 " Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world:"

God began building the new creation right after He finished the old one. We can (see) what God made in 6 days, We can't even imagine our unseen inheritance, that He has been working on for 6 thousand years.

John 15:19 " If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

2 Corinthians 5:17 " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away ; behold all things have become new."

Our Lord has proclaimed that we are not part of this world. We are part of His (new) creation that is eternal if we continue in this faith.

2 Peter 3:13 " Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."

Revelation 21:1 " And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. 5... Behold I make all things new."

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Hebrews 12:26-28 " Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also heaven. Now this "Yet once more," indicates the (removal) of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear."

Ephesians 3:21 " Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, (NEW) world without end, Amen."

Gods field
Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man (God) found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had (John 3:16) and bought that field.

Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

1 Corinthians 6:20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

John 3:16, was the price it took for God to buy us out of the world. He gave His only begotten Son.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.

With careful examination of this text we see believers both dead and alive ascending into heaven at the coming of the Lord. Many pretrib teachers have made reference to this verse but it is very clear in verse 15 that this event takes place at the coming of the Lord. Which was declared by our Lord to be at the end of the tribulation. Verse 14 has also been misrepresented by stating that Jesus is bringing those who died back with Him to set up an earthly kingdom. What this verse actually states is that God will not [leave] those who died, before Christ comes back. Stating that He will bring them also with Him.

If Jesus were bringing the dead with Him they would be descending. In verse 16 Jesus and the angels are descending and the dead in Christ are rising, followed by the living in Christ to meet Him in the heavens.

1 Corinthians 15:15-19 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.

John 14:2-4 Jesus said, " I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Some have taught that those who die in Christ, before He comes, their souls go to heaven to be with the Lord. Paul in this passage and many others declares that they simply go into a state of spiritual sleep to be awakened by The Lords second coming. As also the prophet Daniel stated.

Daniel 12:1,2 "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people-everyone whose name is found written in the book-will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake:

Our Lord has proclaimed that He is bringing those who sleep in Jesus. In Matthew Jesus declares, "[Come], inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world". He also says in Matthew 24:40,41 "one will be taken and the other left." Clearly our Lord has demonstrated that He is taking us somewhere at His second coming. This place may be unseen but it clearly exists and it has been promised to all who believe in Christ Jesus.

John 14:2-4 Jesus said, " I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Matthew 24:31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him,

After precise examination of Thessalonians 4:14-17, God declares even in the minutest detail a posttrib rapture into a heavenly kingdom.

In conclusion, Jesus has demonstrated in various ways, in His word, that His kingdom is not, nor ever will be established on this earth. It already exists in the heavens and in the hearts and minds of those who have faith in Him.

Praise Jesus!!!
