TORAH LIVING

The following e-mail was written in response to a website that does not believe Yeshua/Jesus is Lord or the Messiah. According to their teachings, nothing has changed and the Jews are to obey the old covenant, (torah living,Judaism), as their ancestors did.

Yeshua came to save the Jews and is still reaching out with open arms. His new covenant that was prophesied before He came (Jeremiah 31:31-34) is a much better covenant with much better promises of eternal life and an eternal Kingdom that will never perish. This new covenant also invites non-Jews to be a part of this eternal kingdom. The Apostle Paul declares that the Jews rejection has brought salvation to the Gentiles. The Gentiles acceptance will provoke the Jews to receive this same salvation by faith in Yeshua. Clearly the Lord's desire is to save all men.

This new covenant is what the former wandering in the wilderness represented. Those who did not receive the promise, God gave them, perished in that wilderness without receiving what was promised. Once again we are in a wilderness experience, only this time if we reject the promise we will not enter the eternal kingdom. The better heavenly kingdom that will never perish.

Ironically God sent a loud and clear message through this parable of Moses. Everyone who followed Moses, DID NOT enter the earthly promised land. Everyone who followed Joshua (YAHSHUA) entered the earthly promised land that those who followed Moses could not. As it is now, those who cling to the Mosaic religion will not enter the eternal, promised land, in heaven. Yet everyone who follows Yahshua the Lord will.

The entire former covenant was a parable of what this new covenant IS. The life of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Abram and Abraham, Sarah, Ishmael and Isaac. Their very lives tell us the story of Yeshua and His salvation. I plead with you as a partaker of this new covenant that "Today" is the day of salvation and if you're still breathing your invited by the Lord Yeshua to receive this promise, through faith in Him.

What would you do if someone rejected and slandered your son??? As a father you would reject them. Why??? Your own emotions give you the answer, and you know who put those emotions there.

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord Yeshua will be saved. He's waiting for your call and He doesn't care what you've done. The only thing He can't forgive is your rejection of Him.

If God still wanted you to serve Him through Judaism and not Yeshua, why was the temple and all the former elements destroyed, after Yeshua??? What is keeping them, from being rebuilt and performed again for the last 2000 years??? It can't be God's desire for you to do these things or He would provide them for you, wouldn't He??? He always provided and protected these things, until Yeshua. If the Almighty wanted you to do as your ancestors did, these things including a temple would have existed, but they have not. If you are right then someone has more authority than the God you serve because the things which you say are important no longer exist and have not for almost 2000 years.

The temple Solomon built was glorious and it was destroyed. Then God commanded it be rebuilt. With the damaged , injured stones of the first temple it was rebuilt or resurrected; end of story. Now it is no longer needed because it was merely a parable about the Messiah. Yeshua the Messiah is the Glorious temple of God and He too was destroyed and by the command of God He was rebuilt never to perish again. He is the new testament Temple of God. His Temple has existed for the last 2000 years and you have not come to the Temple of God that you may be forgiven, healed and delivered.

The next e-mail was in response to those who say they believe in Y'shua/Jesus and continue to compel myself and others to follow the old covenant, (torah living) literally.

I agree it is wonderful to see someone come to the knowledge of the truth. The truth that sets them free.

Ephesians 2:5,6
even when we were dead in trespasses, He made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ.

This occurrs when we are joined to Christ by faith and baptized into His name, Y'shua/
"I AM SALVATION". The result should be that we seek the place of our dwelling where He is right now. Where we will go, when He returns in Glory.

Colossians 3:1-4
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above not on things on the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Colossians 2:20
Therefore if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations-do not touch, do not taste, do not handle, which all concern things which perish with the using- according to the commandments and doctrines of men?

Mark 7:18,19
Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from the outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?" (Thus He declared all [natural] foods clean.)

1 Corinthians 6:13
Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.

1 Timothy 4:1-6
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

Y'shua makes us righteous by faith in His works, not ours. Torah living according to fleshly obedience has never been a part of the new covenant. Only by men who desire to have dominion over others, as though they are Holier because of their fleshly works. Y'shua does enforce the law according to the eternal things, not the temporal earthly things you are so concerned with. The sheep and oxen of the Mosaic covenant were animals. The sheep and oxen of the new spiritual covenant, are the people of God. And they are still being sacrificed according to the law, by men who are trying to make themselves righteous. Y'shua's sheep hear His voice and He sets them free.

The old covenant is important when the Lord Jesus gives us an understanding of what it means. The old covenant declares that Jesus is our Messiah and we are released from sin through Him, not by fleshly works according to that law but by faith in the understanding of what that law means spiritually.

The apostles of our Lord gave no such command. Acts 15:5-29
THE LAW

Praise Jesus!!!
