MORMONS

The father of the family next door is a bishop in the mormon church. Jesus revealed to me through the gift of discernment the first time I met him that he was of a different spirit. After 3 years of living next to him, his eldest son presented us with a mormon video. I asked Jesus for something that I could present to him that would prove that he and his family are being deceived. The following minus orson pratt is the answer Jesus gave me. Which I passed on to him.

Orson Pratt, 'The Seer' 1853, page 15: "If we cannot convince you by reason nor by the word of God, that your religion is wrong, we will not persecute you, but will sustain you in the privileges, guaranteed in the great Charter of American Liberty: we ask from you the same generosity--protect us in the exercise of our religious rights--convince us of our errors of doctrine, if we have any, by reason, by logical arguments, or by the word of God, and we will be ever grateful for the information, and you will ever have the pleasing reflection that you have been instruments in the hands of God of redeeming your fellow beings from the darkness which you may see enveloping their minds."

Hebrews 9:16,17
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

The mormon church claims that Jesus visited them and gave them another covenant. Based on the truth stated in Hebrews, Jesus would have had to die again to establish another covenant or testament.

Revelation 1:18
I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Since the Lord Jesus lives forevermore since AD 33 the testament of joseph smith will never be valid. Jesus would have had to die again after 1820 for any of joseph smiths writings to be true testaments of The True Lord Jesus Christ.

John 10:16
"I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

With this verse joseph smith makes his stand. To start with, the verse says "they" will hear my voice, meaning more than one person. The previous verse is a reference to people before the time of Christ not latter day saints. The fulfillment of John 10:16 is in the next 2 verses. There are 2 folds of sheep. Those who lived before Christ and those who live after Christ.

John 5:25-28
"Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,

1 Peter 4:5,6
but they will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living (fold) and the dead (fold). For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God. (one flock and one shepherd)

Jesus was in the tomb on the Sabbath and He did what He has always done on the Sabbath, that is, preach the gospel. This time His audience were, as He was, dead. They are the sheep that heard His voice. The rest of us would hear the gospel from the testimony of His apostles recorded in the only true Bible.

The next verse is the Lords prayer for all who would come after Him. He makes no mention of another testament.

John 17:20,21
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

You will find the real Jesus in the only true Bible. If you seek Jesus, you will find Him. Why would you look for Jesus where He can not be found? Jesus died to redeem all men, from Adam to the second coming. As I hope you can see there is no basis for any other testament then the one we have already received and was put in force by the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. The testimony of joseph smith may change the way you live, but it will not change your destiny.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

He returned to my house the same day and proceeded to tell me that Jesus visited north america while He was on the cross, before He died. Not being familiar with mormon folklore we discussed several other points that prove his religion false. Nevertheless nothing was availed by our discussion. Months later 2 of his underling disciples showed up on my porch. The Lord warned me that they were coming and told me to ask them, when they claim He "visited" north america and gave this false testament? Their answer was, "after His resurrection". This without a doubt proves that any testament joseph smith proclaims is a fairy tale from the devil. Why did a bishop in the mormon church lie to me?
God does not make mistakes nor does He ever violate His own word. There is only one covenant or testament with mankind and it was all testified before the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Any testament claimed to be after the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, cannot be a testament of Jesus.

Revelation 1:18

John 6:53-58
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The words of any other man will only produce death. If it is eternal life that you desire you must seek the words of Jesus that were testified before His death, by Him.
