Jeremiah 31:32
"It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them," declares the LORD.Romans 7:1-6
Do you not know, brothers--for I am speaking to men who know the Covenant of Moses--that covenant, has authority over the Jews only as long as God lives? For example, by the Covenant of Moses, Jews were bound to that marriage with God as long as He lives. But if the Messiah dies, the Jews are released from that Covenant of Moses. Receiving anyone other than Jesus, as Messiah, makes the Jews an adulteress. But, when Jesus the Messiah died, the Jews were released from the Covenant of Moses. Now Jews and Gentiles can enter into a new and everlasting marriage with God through the Risen Messiah.
So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Messiah, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.Revelation 1:17,18
"Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades."Colossians 1:19-23
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-- if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.2 Corinthians 5:18-20
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.Ephesians 2:16
and in this one body to reconcile both of them (Jews, Gentiles) to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.Romans 5:10
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!Praise Jesus!!!
