Eternity

The main reason I started this website was to share what the Holy Spirit has revealed and established in my heart with an abundance of scriptural proofs. My main focus was to reveal God's true kingdom, as it has been promised to all who have faith in Christ Jesus. I am not an eloquent writer so I must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to demonstrate to you what I am trying to say.

Jesus said that His kingdom would be preached to all nations and then the end would come. This He said right before He declared the coming of the evil one. Based on what He has revealed, His kingdom has not been perceived in these last days because what is preached about His kingdom has been false.

Jesus told Pilate that His kingdom was not of this world and with that verse the Holy spirit began to show where His kingdom would be. Jesus has been in the heavens for the last 2000 years. In Hebrews it says He is presently serving in the true tabernacle, in heaven, that was not erected by the hands of men. Solomon said after completing the earthly temple made by mere men. How can man build God a house, heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool.

Paul says in Hebrews that it is evident by the many geneologies recorded, that Jesus clearly was from the tribe of Judah, where no priest was to come from, according to the former law. This means a complete change from the former things. If Jesus were on earth He could not be priest because of the former law. Yet Paul says He is a priest forever in the heavens where His home is. John goes on to say we will reign with Him as priests during the millenium, which makes it impossible for the millenium to be on this earth. If you've been promised, that you will reign with Jesus for a thousand years on this earth you have been lied to.

Jesus said He was leaving this earth [John 14:1-6] and that He would go and prepare a place for us so that He could return and take us to be with Him where He is going. He also said you know where I am going and how to get there. Also, no one comes to the Father except through me. That statement alone tells us the way, and where we are going.... To the Father in Christ.

The promises, all of them, according to the former law have been abolished. In Hebrews Paul says that the former covenant has been obsoleted by a better covenant based on better promises. The temple, the city, and the country on this earth that are part of the former law are not part of the new covenant. They too have been replaced by better things that are currently promises and must be seen by faith, but they clearly exist in the heavens. Yes, it is faith that pleases God, believing the evidence of things not yet seen. Paul says, why do you hope for what you already have? seen things.

Paul concludes in Hebrews after declaring that there is a city and a country in the heavens, that here on earth we do not have a perpetual city, but we seek the one to come, by faith. Paul also said, we do not seek the things we can see with our eyes because they are temporary. We seek the things we can see with our hearts by faith in Jesus. He also declares, as a spiritual principal for interpretation, that the things you can see always come before the things that are eternal. In other words if you can see it with your eyes, it is not eternal, it is a type or description of the real thing that is to come.

Everything we can see will be done away with, even the bodies we look at in the mirror. These bodies we live in, with Christ, are the reality of what the tents were in the former covenant. Our new glorified bodies will be the permanent eternal home of our God and Savior Jesus. The things that were seen were replaced by the eternal things. In Christ we have become the eternal building materials that our God is using to make His eternal dwelling place. Made not by the hands of men but by the hand of God.

Peter declares that this earth and heavens, that we can see, will be destroyed and as John concurred in Revelation, God will create a new heaven and a new earth after the millenium and the final judgement. Then we will descend from the heavens, the camp of the saints, where we have been with Jesus for one thousand years of worship and fellowship onto our eternal home of righteousness. Onto the new world without end, the one God promised the meek would inherit. The new earth is the one God has promised to all who are joined to His Son in faith being co-heirs of the better eternal promises of God, in Christ Jesus.

John says anyone who loves this world or the things in it does not love God. And, this world is passing away. Paul in Hebrews quotes Isaiah and Psalms by stating this current earth we can see is compared to an old garment that is wearing out and it will be folded up and discarded. Jesus said, no one puts a new patch on an old garment or the new and the old will be ruined.

That's good enough for me, I don't want this earth to be my inheritance because it is going to perish with everything else we can see. We have wars all around this world and they are all fighting over something that is going to pass away. All of the current "religious leaders" proclaim that Jesus is going to put them in charge of His earthly kingdom when He gets here. They couldn't be further from the truth. Jesus isn't returning to build a kingdom, He is returning, as He said He would, to gather us, who have faith, and take us where He has been for the last 2000 years. To His eternal Kingdom that He has been preparing for all that love Him... the Way, the Truth and the life.

He's also returning to execute judement and wrath on all the liars and deceivers, that will not be welcome in His heavenly kingdom, unless they repent. Paul said he was brought to tears because of these men, whose minds are on earthly things and teach others to be as well. Paul proclaims our citizenship is in heaven where our Lord is, and that is why we are called to be His ambassaders, for His country and city, that exist in the heavens. Paul says the former things he considers rubbish compared to knowing Jesus Christ and the better promises.

Paul declares that after we have been raised with Christ in baptism, we are to seek the things which are above, where Christ is, not the things of this earth. That must mean that we are entitled to see these things if we are in Christ and seek these things. Jesus said, seek the kingdom of God, and he would take care of all our present needs, and I can attest that He has done this in abundance. We must know what to seek and that is why I started this website and why I am writing this. If you have never looked for these things, I encourage you to do so, and you will not be dissapointed. Jesus said He was not part of this world, and He has called us out of this world. In Christ we are part of His new creation that will not perish but last forever.

John 3:3
Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God,
It cannot be seen by the eyes of man, but only by the children of God.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
(and all your current earthly needs will be taken care of, by Him.)

Matthew 7:7,8
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Hebrews 11:13-16
All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Hebrews 12:22-24
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Galatians 4:25-27
Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of (temporary, seen) Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the (eternal, unseen) Jerusalem that is above (in heaven) is free, and she is our mother. For it is written: Be glad, O barren woman,
who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud,
you who have no labor pains;
because more are the children of the desolate woman(earthly city)
than of her who has a husband.(city in heaven)

God is building and adding to this city everyday. When Jesus comes back, He will resurrect all who have been added to this city and gather us into heaven. We will be married to God. Simply put we are the city that God will dwell in for eternity... The New Jerusalem. We will spend the millenium in heaven with our eternal husband. At the end of the millenium, the present heaven and earth are destroyed and all the people and angels who fought against Jesus and this kingdom are cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur." This is the second death.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using. The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

(We are the bride. We have just read that God considers us to be the precious, living stones, in which He will dwell for all eternity. 1 Peter 2:4-11)

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Praise Jesus!!!
